Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Diaulos, run by the developer of Diaulos. Apple's standard licence for App Store and TestFlight apps also applies. By using the app you agree to both.
Training guidance, not medical advice
Diaulos gives general training guidance based on what you tell it and what your devices measure. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Check with a doctor before starting a new training program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant. Stop and get help if something hurts, if you feel faint or dizzy, or if you have chest pain.
Your responsibility
Exercise carries a risk of injury. You choose what to do with the app's suggestions, and you take part at your own risk. Use equipment safely, warm up, and adjust or skip anything that doesn't feel right. Readiness scores and paces are estimates and can be wrong, especially when a device misses data.
Running outdoors
Pay attention to traffic, the route and the weather, not the screen. Voice cues are there so you don't have to look.
Beta versions
Test versions from TestFlight are unfinished and may have bugs, lose data or change without notice. Keep iCloud backup on if your log matters to you.
Your content
What you log and the cards you make are yours. If you share a card, you're responsible for what you share and where.
Gym leaderboards
If you join gym leaderboards, log only lifts you really did, as you did them, and choose a display name that isn't offensive or pretending to be someone else. We may hold, hide or remove entries, ask for a video, and remove accounts or devices from the boards for cheating, abuse or offensive names. Reviewing other members' videos is voluntary; judge them honestly against the standard shown. Removal from the boards never affects your own training in the app.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, the developer of Diaulos isn't liable for injury, loss or damage from using the app or following its guidance, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.
Changes and ending
These terms may change; the new version goes on this page with a new date. You can stop using the app and erase its data at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
